INSPIRE
(Inspiring NSBE Students and Professional in Research and Engineering) Scholarship

This is the National Society of Black Engineers- Milwaukee Area Professionals Chapter's annual Scholarship for Black/African American high school seniors and collegiate students interested in pursuing a STEM career (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) in Engineering. It is a way for us to give back and help ease the burden financially for those pursuing those careers.

 

Any Black/African American high school or collegiate student interested in pursuing a STEM career in the State of Wisconsin can apply. 

High School Eligibility Requirements

Scholarship Application

  • The candidate must be a high school graduating senior currently residing in Wisconsin.

  • Candidate must be enrolled in a 4-year university or 2-year institution for the 2023-2024 school year and committed to pursuing a degree in Engineering or a closely related Technical Field. (Please include a copy of an acceptance letter)

  • The candidate must have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0. (Please attach an official copy of your transcript)

  • The candidate must submit two (2) letters of recommendation.

  • The candidate must be a minority student of Black/African American ethnicity.

  • Candidate must submit the completed application by 11:59 PM Friday,  June 3rd, 2023

Colligate
Eligibility Requirements

  • The candidate must be a college student currently residing in Wisconsin.

  • Candidate must be enrolled in a 4-year university or 2-year institution for the 2023-2024 school year and committed to pursuing a degree in Engineering or a closely related Technical Field. (Please include a copy of an acceptance letter)
