Pre-College Initiative (PCI)- Cultivating the Next Generation

Our Pre-College Initiative Programs (PCI) are the K-12 tier of our STEM pipeline support. We engage, expose, and mentor students throughout the Milwaukee Area through our programs such as Professional Partners in the Classroom (PPIC) and Hydroponics STEM.
Our Hydroponics STEM Program serves as an instrument for developing a positive relationship between the historical influence and significance of Black people in agriculture. This program teaches healthy independent eating to youth in central Milwaukee food insecure zones. The goal is to provide a sense of pride in their history by curating a healthy eating environment and exploring opportunities in underrepresented environmental career paths.
Professional Partners in the Classroom (PPIC) program initiative is aimed at inspiring high school students in the Milwaukee area to pursue careers in STEM.
